At ChoreVoyant, we believe in smart support with wholehearted care. That means that our level of support is tailored specifically to the needs of our individual clients. Because we know that two things can be true at the same time: clients can want help with running their home effectively and efficiently, yet find it difficult to delegate.

Difficult to decide which tasks to turn over to a non-family member; difficult to get past the discomfort of feeling as if they “should” be able to handle everything on their own. Marcia Marino, co-owner of ChoreVoyant with her husband, Larry, understands this difficulty. She herself has experienced that discomfort of having things fall through the cracks, knowing that they would not have, had she accepted some help. She gets it!

Marcia and Larry also believe in ownership: taking ownership of a task from its planning stages to its implementation, knowing the relief that comes from taking something completely off your plate. ChoreVoyant offers that level of support as well, for the client who is ready to relieve themselves of the burden of dealing with every detail of household management.

We also believe that decision-fatigue is a real thing. The relentless onslaught of decisions that come in daily life—decisions about inconsequential minutiae—eat away at our clients’ capacity to deal with more substantial issues. The exhaustion that comes from always being ‘on’ leaves little bandwidth for the joy that comes from being fully present for family and friends, or for the presence of mind it takes to engage in self-care. This is why Marcia, as lead concierge, is committed to helping clients simplify and limit the number of decisions they are faced with when dealing with the mundane parts of running the household.



Marcia does this by listening—to both the things you say, and those you don’t. Thirty years as an instrumental music teacher honed her ability to pay attention to and to remember the smallest of details, whether that’s your current mood or a preference you mentioned in passing. Empathy and genuine care for clients’ wellbeing are at the core of ChoreVoyant’s mission: making life something to be enjoyed, not endured.
