Q: Why should I consider using ChoreVoyant’s errand and household management services?

Many of us become entangled in life’s busy challenges. We get to a point where we simply cannot do it all ourselves, so things fall through the cracks and become forgotten. There are huge impacts from an empty refrigerator, a dirty home, a missed appointment. The biggest benefit is peace of mind. Whether you’re looking for services for yourself or for your loved ones, you can be confident that the tasks will be handled with attention. Attention to your concerns and desires, and attention to the details that will fulfill your request.

Q: What if I need a service that is not listed?

Just ask! If we are able to provide it, we will. If we can’t, we will work to connect you with the appropriate service provider.

Q: What areas do you serve?

We serve all of Bergen County.

Q: What types of payment does ChoreVoyant accept?

We accept checks, credit cards and PayPal. The simplest way to pay is directly through our invoice (“Pay now” button).

Q: Are you insured?

Yes, ChoreVoyant is both insured and bonded.

Q: Why use a service like ChoreVoyant when stores & apps have their own delivery services?

Unlike the stores and apps, ChoreVoyant provides our client base with the same service provider for each service. Our focus is on the care and detail that serve you best, not just checking items off a list and fulfilling orders. Clients’ projects are not shared time—so groceries are delivered store-to-door; we do not ride around town for a series of deliveries for several clients. ChoreVoyant goes well beyond deliveries: we not only do the shopping, but the chopping and the mopping!

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

In order to receive a full refund, services must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. Services cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged a cancellation fee of $82.50. Monthly retainers can be cancelled with two weeks’ notice.

Q: How does ChoreVoyant work?

It all starts with a free phone consultation to assess your needs, answer your questions, and guide you to the services most appropriate for you. Listening to your needs and concerns allows us to find out how we can best serve you. Please know that all errand and household management service hours must be booked at least 48 hours in advance; all event services must be booked at least 1 week in advance.

Q: How do I know your services are confidential?

Because we build a relationship with our clients, ChoreVoyant values your privacy. Our website is secured, so all transactions are encrypted. Your information will not be shared or sold to any third party. The number of hours you purchase, as well as the types of services you purchase, will not be shared or sold to anyone. All service records are kept confidential and are used only for the purposes of record-keeping, billing, and review of offerings. See our privacy statement.
